"Trove entries state as follows: Elizabeth makes application in the Supreme Court for administration of the estate of Walter Renwick grazier of Rockhampton who died intestate, dated at Rockhampton, 28 February 1865. Charles Sydney Dick Proctor for Elizabeth Renwick Brisbane Courier 22.3.1865 p 1 Intestate, Walter left 900 pounds (Papers from Queensland Archives.) Papers from Ecclesiastical Court re his estate say he is a grazier. Elizabeth is in Rockhampton as she signs some of these papers. A debt of 2000 to the Crown??? Letters of administration of the estate to Elizabeth were granted on 7th April, 1865, with "affidavits of surety" being provided by Thomas and William Renwick, who had lived in Queensland and NSW in the last 6 months and held property in cattle and stock to the value of 2000and 400pounds respectively"
