Probable incorrect listing of a daughter Mary A S. The Pre 1860 Pioneer Register includes another daughter Mary A S with no birth date, but a death date of 1934. This is the same year of death as her Mother. I would understand that this confusion may have arisen from the incorrect names used on the death registration of Mary Ann Sarah BROWN. There is no other relevant death registration for another Mary and I think the names and dates on the headstone for James and Mary support this view.
