Mr. Blanch contracted pneumonia some 3 weeks ago and had recovered sufficiently to be pronounced out of danger but later on an attackof pleurisy supervened and the effects of this disease caused his death though it was not expected either by his medical attendant or his family and his friends about the town were under the impression that his recovery was well assured. The newsof his death therefore caused some surprise and regret. He leaves a widow and large family, a good many of whom have arrived to man or womanhood. The funeral on Tuesday was attended by a large gathering of sympathisers. |
