WEDDING

RUSSELL— BLANCH

Anna Bay Union Church was prettily decorated on Saturday, June 16th, by friends of the bride, for the wedding of Noreen Marjory, second daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C. S. Blanch, of Anna Bay, and Earl George., third son of Mr. and Mrs. G, J. Russell of Williamtown.

Rev W. T. Cross, of Raymond Terrace performed the ceremony. Mrs. C. Robinson presided at the organ and Mrs. J. Robinson sang "Because." The bride, who entered the church with her father, wore a charming gown of white satin, moulded closely to the figure and falling into a graceful train. The cowl neckline of angel skin lace fell in soft folds; an embroidered veil was held in place with a pleated halo and was trimmed with orange blossoms. Her bouquet was or rose, stock and bouvardia. The bride's sister, Miss Freda Blanch, was bridesmaid. She wore a duty pink marocain frock, with a lace cowl and a matching lace hat, and carried a bouquet of pink carnations and sweet pea. Amy Blanch, sister of the bride, was a dainty flower girl. She was gowned in pink delustred crepe and a halo of pink flowers and her posy was pink roses. Mr. E. Robinson, of Nelson's Bay, was the best man. Following the service a reception was held at the home of the bride's parents. Mrs. Blanch wore a marocain frock, with a navy hat and accessories and added a pansy shoulder spray. Mrs. Russell, mother of the bridegroom chose a navy georgette frock, with a navy hat and accessories. Her shoulder spray was of nasturtium. The honeymoon is being spent at Katoomba and Sydney. The bride's travelling costume was of navy blue and was worn with a black hat and accessories.
