Lesley Uebel to me Aug 20

Hi Stuart

Christian Robert Uebel was one of the 6 children of Frederick Charles Uebel and Mabel Janet Pollock.

Frederick Charles was the son of Christian Charles Uebel (1838-1906) and Sarah Jane Easton (1844 - 1898). Christian arrived from Prussia in 1860. Sarah was English and had arrived with her family. Christian Charles Uebel was a Pasty Cook and Baker and purchased his shop/residence in George Street, Sydney in 1880 - this building still exists and is opposite St Lawrence's Church of England up near Central Station.
