The Allies' Fair, held in the R.C. school-hall, Church-street, Windsor on Friday, Saturday and Monday nights proved a good financial success, though the attendance ofadults on the first two nights was anythingbut satisfactory. However, they made up forit on the concluding night, where business wasparticularly brisk: At the last moment Mrs.J. A. May and Mrs. C. W. May were unableto take charge of the doll stall andthe refreshment stall on account of illness in their respective families. However,Mrs. Riley stepped into the breach and tookcharge of the refreshment stall, while MissMasters and Mrs. Selby undertook the careand responsibility of the doll stall. The hallwas nicely decorated with greenery, bunting. etc. There were three stalls which wereparticularly well stocked and tastefully draped. The 'Australia,' or fancy stall was presided over by Mrs Ireland and Mrs. A. Maguire, and their assistants were Misses Ireland, Molly Dwyer, Katie Nagle and AnnieGrono. Good business was done at this stalland over £17 was collected. Doll's stall waspresided over by Mrs. Selby and Miss Masters, they having as assistants Misses Myrtle Clerke,Minnie Bushell. Mabel Pryor, Dorrie Pryor,Dorrie Clerke, Florrie Noon, Lucy Mullan, andFlorrie May. The refreshment stall was con-trolled by Mrs. Riley, and she had very energetic assistants in Mrs. E.
