"The info I have says he was accidently killed whilst cleaning his musket after a hunting trip. Apparently he wasn't shot but it recoiled and cause internal injuries which he died of."

"Inquest: No.71 at Dungog. Date 22.3.1842, William MABRAY, Date of death 3.3.1842, Thomas Cook PM Coroner, Verdict: Accidentally killed. (A 'shot while loading/cleaning his “musket” after a hunting trip theory, has been handed down through the family). To date no death certificate has been found, so we don’t know where William is buried. Sadly when the court house at Stroud burned down a lot of records were lost."

"James Mayberry married fourteen years after George Worth and his sister Mary Ann taking place on Monday the 15th February 1864, he was according to his marriage records as born at Glen William NSW. He was listed, as a farmer he was age 26 he married Ann Avery of Paterson who was a private person at the time of the wedding and her usual residence was Banfield. Her father James Avery was a farmer and her mother was before her marriage to James Avery a miss Haislip., the marriage was carried out in the residence of Mr. Samuel Smith named glen oak and was near Clarencetown."

"Samuel's parents are Stephen & Elizabeth Smith nee Mayberry/Maybury, originally Mayberry but there are various spellings in later documents, as you probably know they spelt it how it sounded to the scribe, (which would have made it very difficult if they had an accent) I have attached some documents that will give you some help if you are interested. Most of Samuel's siblings were born in and around Clarence Town NSW. They also have a long history with the Bulladelaha area in NSW."

"I just found your website and found a relative of mine, my great grandfather, Samuel Smith. I come from his first marriage to Sarah Agnes Laurie, Sarah died in 1900, they had 4 children, their son Ronald Bruce Laurie Smith is my grandfather."
