I found your website and want to congratulate you on a big effort! You have quite a few of my family member listed, including William Chowne Robinson and Elizabeth Trotter who are my great grandmother's grandparents. I can send you more details (by the way,they had no son Alexander, sorry!) if you would like to add to your database. They had six children: You have the eldest two correct, after that they had William Chowne II in 1843, Thomas in 1845, James in around 1847(died soon after birth) and Mary in 1848. Mary survived her mother who died in 1848, but died of convulsions sometime around 1853. She was adopted by John and Susannah Trotter who couldn't have children of their own. William remarried in 1852 to Margaret Mary Towers and had fifteen more children!

"Re: /1897 ROBINSON WILLIAM C WILLIAM JANE DUNGOG Yes that's him - I have William Chowne Robinson's death certificate and yes he died in 1897 at Bendolba near Dungog. The parents on his death certificate are incorrect, (William and Jane are actually his SON and his SON's wife) - his parents were Richard Robinson and Hannah Rae Chowne. The reason for them not being on his death certificate - Richard was a convict!"
