I entered 11 children of Charles and Mary from the beginning. Now that we are getting down to verifications, I applied for death certificates from BDM but nothing for Charles V. However, There is a BDM birth reference 13238/1885 for Charles V in the Newtown district but no deceased record. we probably won't pursue Charles V any further and accept he apparently died at a young age (8) with no marriage or children. As regards Sylvia M Thompson, BDM has a record of Sylvia M birth ref. 25756/1893 also in the Newtown district. There is a marriage to Reginald M Oliver 5164/1915 in the Glebe district and BDM has a second marriage record of Sylvia M 2015/1930 to Francis P Neary in the Marrickville district. We are applying for these three transcripts and are confident the birth record exists. However, we cannot find a deceased record for Sylvia; it is possible she moved out of NSW or even to New Zealand similar to her sister Hilda Catherine Thompson. Trust the forgoing is sufficient to include Charles and Sylvia in your MNCP; however, you may prefer the respective birth transcripts beforehand."
