Juliana Departed Gravesend on 20 Oct 1838 of 549 tons. Passengers comprised of 142 adults, 48 children between 7 and 14 years, 53 children under 7 years a total of 243.

Citation details: Scott2_14 Citation details: Reels 2654, and 1304 Note: They came to Australia as assisted migrants originally departing on the ship "Juliana". The Juliana was a wooden barque of 549 tons. Built in Calcutta in 1819. It departed London for Sydney with 241 emigrants but was wrecked at Mouille Point, Table Bay, South Africa on 19 January 1839. All the passengers and crew landed safely and were eventually taken on to Sydney by the Morayshire and the Mary Hay. The Elphick family arrived on the "Mary Hay".
