Note: They came to Australia as assisted migrants originally departing on the ship "Juliana". The Juliana was a wooden barque of 549 tons. Built in Calcutta in 1819. It departed London for Sydney with 241 emigrants but was wrecked at Mouille Point, Table Bay, South Africa on 19 January 1839. All the passengers and crew landed safely and were eventually taken on to Sydney by the Morayshire and the Mary Hay. The Elphick family arrived on the "Mary Hay".
Note

They possibly had another child, Richard, born in 1825.
