Marriage: 21 May 1870, Myall Lakes, NSW. [Port Stephens 1870/3255] Married in the house of Thomas Mayers, Myall Lakes according to the rites of the Church of England. Archibald Shaw Officiating Minister or registrar. Witnesses: Thomas and Jane Watters. [The bride and groom and the two witnesses merely made their mark. The marks being witnessed by Archibald Shaw. “The Consent of Thomas Mayers Senior and Samuel Garnar was given to the marriage of Thomas Mayers and Hannah Garnar. The said Thomas Mayers and Hannah Garnar being under the age of twentyone years.”
